Created for my art markets in Pittsburgh’s Strip District, this project explores original designs inspired by the city and its local culture. The goal was to create a collection of quirky, tongue-in-cheek tote bags that would make shoppers stop, smile, and engage with products. Each design was illustrated in Procreate, arranged in Canva, and cut using a Cricut machine before being applied to the bags with heat transfer. Through this process, I developed practical experience in taking a design from digital illustration to a finished product, including learning to use transfer paper to make applying the cutout designs easier and more precise.
